I'm not getting enough smoke, what am I doing wrong?
The most general reason is your Hookah is not air tight. Double check the connections between the metal stem and glass base, metal stem and the hose, and metal stem and clay bowl. After you've checked to ensure your Hookah is airtight, the other reason could be that you do not have enough charcoals on the clay bowl. Make sure to keep the charcoal around the edge of the Hookah bowl. Also, make sure there is only 1-2 inches of water above the stem line. If there is too much or too little water the Hookah will not smoke properly. Finally, make sure your clay bowl is not clogged. Sometimes the tobacco gets stuck in the holes of the clay bowl.
The smoke is too harsh, why is that?
The most likely reason is that you have too many charcoals on your bowl. Remove some charcoals and if it is still harsh then that means you burnt the tobacco and will have to refill a new bowl. Another problem could be too many/too big holes poked into the aluminum foil.
How long should each bowl last?
The average bowl with two to three smokers should last anywhere from 45 minutes to one hour.
What size Hookah should I buy?
Hookah pipe smoking is usually a group activity and is something important when it comes to choosing the size of the Hookah. Smaller sized Hookah pipes can be used by an individual easily; the size and the weight of a larger Hookah make it the most stable for the large groups. |
